The Whistleblower protection enhancement of contractor protection from reprisal (act of retaliation) took effect on October 31, 2021. We are a subcontractor of Federal grant funds, so our team completes an annual Whistle Blower Protection Training. A Whistleblower is a person often an employee who reveals information about activity within a private or public organization that is deemed illegal, immoral, illicit, unsafe, or fraudulent. Whistle Blower Protection is needed because people often heavy price for blowing the whistle.
