A Champion of Hope in HIV/AIDS Community Service

Hailing from Tucson, Arizona, Lisa Alaniz’s life journey is marked by determination, resilience, and compassion. From grappling with homelessness as a child to committing herself to community service over personal financial gain, Lisa’s early experiences set the foundation for her passion to assist others. Today, she’s a beacon of hope for many, cherishing moments with her large, supportive family and deriving strength from her faith.

Lisa’s career started as a Pharmacy Technician, but her desire to make a palpable impact saw her transition to a role at a Ryan White Clinic. Here, she played an integral part in initiatives such as “Club MedBox” and the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP). Rising through the ranks, Lisa, as the Ryan White Part B Program Manager, brought pivotal changes, most notably the Ryan White Integrated Statewide Eligibility (RWISE) system. Since joining TriYoung, Inc. in 2017, Lisa has been instrumental in helping Ryan White Programs across the nation harness technology to better serve their communities.

Lisa Alaniz’s journey in the healthcare sector is marked by a series of significant milestones that have positively impacted the lives of countless individuals. As the ADAP Coordinator, she spearheaded reforms that dramatically enhanced the accessibility of antiretroviral therapy. Under her leadership, the Ryan White program witnessed an expansion in the Federal Poverty Level criteria, a transformative move that opened the doors to life-saving medications and services for an even broader segment of the population.

In collaboration with Julie Young, Lisa was instrumental in the conception and execution of groundbreaking systems such as RWISE and the Medical Benefit Management System (MBM). These initiatives further streamlined processes and ensured seamless service delivery. Presently, at TriYoung, Lisa dons the hat of the Client Experience Specialist. In this pivotal role, she is the linchpin ensuring that every client’s integration into the TriYoung family is flawless. She meticulously manages all phases of the client experience, right from the inaugural inquiry to the culmination of a project. Lisa’s commitment to excellence doesn’t stop there. She plays an essential role in welcoming and training new team members and is the guardian of standards as the HIPAA Compliance officer.

For Lisa, every day is an opportunity to radiate love, kindness, and to better herself. A woman of faith, she’s deeply inspired by Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.” When she’s not working, she loves gardening, bike riding, and undertaking DIY projects. Cancun and Oak Creek Canyon hold special places in her heart.
