David Fredrickson: A Life of Purpose and Innovation
David Fredrickson discovered his path early. What started as a high school coding class quickly grew into a career defined by technical excellence and commitment to lifelong learning.
His passion for software engineering deepened while working as a military healthcare coordinator. Alongside his core responsibilities, David took initiative—writing code and training colleagues to streamline workflows and improve efficiency. This hands-on experience led him to earn a bachelor’s degree in computer science. Throughout his academic journey, he continued sharpening his skills while working for an HVAC company, consistently building on his technical foundation.
Since joining TriYoung in 2021, David has made a lasting impact. In his first two years, he developed new tools from the ground up, including programs designed to support eligibility for Ryan White grant recipients. He also transformed nearly two decades of outdated data import processes by creating streamlined, modern solutions. One of his most significant contributions was collaborating with his team over eight months to develop the new RWISE interface—replacing legacy backend code while enhancing both functionality and user experience.
Today, David focuses on ensuring TriYoung’s client management systems run smoothly, with particular attention to the data entry processes that control information access. Behind the scenes, he applies his expertise to strengthen system security and continuously improve performance for end users.
When challenges arise, David is quick to respond. Through rigorous system testing and debugging, he identifies root causes and implements lasting solutions. His approach is methodically understanding how systems should function, pinpointing where disruptions occur, and determining why issues happen in the first place. Once engaged, he remains fully committed until the problem is resolved and clients are confident in the outcome.
