Ian Taylor: Making a Difference Where It Counts
Ian Taylor’s career path began in an unexpected place. While pursuing an accounting degree in 2012, he quickly noticed that many essential processes were still being done manually rather than digitally. After witnessing how costly simple paper-based errors could be, Ian made a pivotal decision—he changed his major to computer information systems and never looked back.
Before joining TriYoung in 2021, Ian spent eight years processing Medicaid and Medicare claims for a healthcare organization. During that time, he built a strong technical foundation, gaining expertise in programming languages like SQL, infrastructure development, and network troubleshooting. His curiosity and drive led him to collaborate closely with database teams, and he eventually stepped into a technical management role, where he further honed his leadership skills.
Ian thrives on connection and collaboration, often describing himself as an “information superhighway” for his colleagues. His attention to detail, combined with his strengths in network security and server testing, plays a critical role in supporting TriYoung’s continued innovation and success. Known for his approachable nature, Ian works seamlessly with professionals at every level—from vendors and clinical teams to executive leadership—consistently embracing new challenges and solving complex technical problems.
Despite his accomplishments, Ian remains grounded and team focused. He measures success not by titles, but by the strength of collaboration and his ability to support others. Committed to fostering a culture of respect, accessibility, and shared learning, Ian views himself as a lifelong student rather than an expert.
“When you become an expert, you stop learning from others around you.” – Ian T.
Ian’s dedication to growth, combined with his technical expertise, continues to distinguish him as a leader in his field. He approaches every opportunity with intention, striving to make a meaningful impact while advancing TriYoung’s mission.
Congratulations, Ian, on your well-deserved promotion.
