Lisa Alaniz discovered her passion for helping patients at an early age, inspired by watching pharmacy technicians at the drug store where her mother worked. Even then, she knew she wanted a career that would allow her to make a meaningful difference in as many lives as possible.

In 1999, Lisa began her journey at that very same pharmacy. Over time, she advanced into a role supporting HIV patients, ensuring they receive critical medications. Her dedication led her to an immunology clinic in Tucson, where she deepened her work with individuals living with HIV—many of whom became lifelong friends. Lisa consistently went beyond her responsibilities, spending time with patients over lunch, listening to their stories, and offering encouragement to both survivors and their families during difficult moments.

“I do everything in my power to stand with my patients and their families–facing the hardships affecting their lives–so they don’t stand alone.” – Lisa A.

Through these experiences, Lisa gained a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by people living with HIV. This insight strengthened her commitment to improving access to treatment, particularly for vulnerable populations. After relocating to Phoenix, she took on the role of AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) Program Manager, where she also supported Spanish-speaking families by providing translation and guidance.

Ensuring that patients qualified for and received their medications became Lisa’s top priority, especially as she worked closely with individuals living below the federal poverty level. She also drew inspiration from her sister’s experience caring for a child with special needs, navigating a complex system to secure essential care.

Lisa’s opportunity to drive meaningful change came with her promotion to Part B Program Manager. In this role, she modernized operations by transitioning her office from paper-based processes to automated systems. This transformation reduced clerical errors, improved compliance with federal requirements, and generated cost savings—demonstrating her commitment to both efficiency and patient care.

Today, Lisa’s passion, expertise, and leadership continue to play a vital role in TriYoung’s success. As a Senior Account Manager, she extends her impact beyond Arizona, serving as a trusted voice in healthcare communities nationwide. Whether managing grant applications, resolving technical challenges, or guiding clients through complex patient care transitions, Lisa remains dedicated to making a difference with every opportunity she is given.

Congratulations, Lisa, on your well-deserved promotion. Your commitment to compassion and innovation continues to inspire those around you.
